Coach Ruth has been coaching with us for over six years! She is so fun, full of energy and a great teacher. Her little gymnasts not only learn challenging skills, but also learn how to be a good student, friend and teammate. Her loving personality and friendly attitude makes every lesson a blast! Who wouldn’t want to get to know Coach Ruth a bit better?

What is your role at Gymtime?  A gymnastics coach, although I often feel it goes beyond just teaching gymnastics skills. I like to encourage confidence building exercises, supporting classmates and having fun.

What is the best part of your job? How much I learn from my kids and seeing them smile and be proud of their hard work.

What was your first job? Teaching gymnastics.

Where did you grow up? Rochester, NY

What is your favorite activity to do outside of work? Being outdoors and active any chance I get.

What would the title of your autobiography be?  “To be Continued…”

What is something most people would be surprised to learn about you? I’ve been to a majority of the 50 states.

If you could meet one person dead or alive, who would it be? Ghandi

What is something you never leave the house without? (besides your wallet, keys and phone!) Chapstick, jewelry and headphones.
