Getting to Know Ms. Wendy
What is your role here at Gymtime? Three’s teacher at Early Learning Foundations Preschool.
What is the best part of your job? When I open my door at 8:45 a.m. and greet all the children.
What was your first job? My very first job was an office girl at a day camp; I was 13 years old.
Where did you grow up? I grew up on the Grand Concourse in the Bronx.
What is your favorite activity to do outside of work? I love to cook and garden.
What is something most people would be surprised to learn about you? I am a very spiritual person and most intuitive.
What are three things you never leave the house without (besides your wallet, keys and phone)? My watch, phone charger and pocketbook.
If you could meet one person dead or alive, who would it be? I would love to meet Oprah Winfrey.

Book? “Wurthering Heights” by Emily Bronte
Movie? I love to watch the old movies and watch TCM in the weekends. Some of my favorites are “The Wizard of Oz,”The Sound of Music,” and “Gone with the Wind.”
Song? “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears.
Food? Steak and Baked Potato
TV Show? “The Good Wife”
Hot or cold? Lately I’m always hot and would rather be cold.
Early bird or night owl? I am definitely an early bird.
Coffee or tea? I LOVE my coffee!
Sweet or savory? I definitely have a sweet tooth.
Country or city? While I was raised in the city, I now prefer the country. I love the quiet. I love to garden and putter around my house.
