Fall is here and we couldn’t be more excited! There are tons of family friends events going on this month and we’re sharing some of our favorites. Now go out and have some fun!

Spooky Sleepover: October 18, 6pm-9am
at the American Museum of Natural History
This special sleepover will encompass all elements of a typical AMNH sleepover, with a focus on All Hallows Eve for children between ages 6 and 13 years old. Expect costume contests, trick-or-treating and scrumptious snacks planned throughout the evening. Admission is $145.

Raffi in Concert: October 19, 1-2:30pm
at The Kaye Playhouse – Hunter College
It’s no secret that this children’s music entertainer has a way with children. His music and performances have been a favorite of kids for decades, and now you have the chance to share this experience with your family at his #belugagrads tour. Tickets between $35-$65.

Halloween Murder Mystery, October 24 and October 25, 6:30-7:30pm
at Mount Vernon Hotel and Museum
Families have the opportunity to explore the museum by candlelight, collecting clues to solve the mystery of a skeleton that was found under the floorboards of the Mount Vernon Hotel. A fun event for children 8-years-old and up. Tickets are $25 for adults; $10 for children ages 12 and under.

Halloween Murder Mystery
Halloween Parade and Pumpkin Floatilla October 26, 3:30 – 6:30pm
at Charles A. Dana Discovery Center in Central Park
Drop-off your pre-carved pumpkin at 3:30pm for the floatilla and then get ready for pumpkin carving demos, spooky stories and a parade! All before the launch of the Pumpkin Floatilla! Check-out the website for the timeline of events and guidelines for the floatilla.
