Last night, York Avenue Preschool teacher Rachel Goetz was recognized for her exceptional teaching at Manhattan Media’s Blackboard Awards. Originally from New City, NY, Rachel moved to New York City 10 years ago after completing her master’s from Adelphi University. For the past eight years Rachel has been fulfilling her passion teaching young children at York Avenue Preschool. With more than 1,000 nominations submitted and only a handful of teachers and schools chosen, Rachel and the entire York Avenue Preschool family were honored by this nomination.
