The noisemaker works by putting the stick between your open palms and rubbing them together. It creates a rolling drum sound.

MIM-Drum-Materials

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 Empty Tape Spool
  • 1 Round, Tapered Chopstick
  • One Balloon
  • Scotch Tape
  • Dental Floss
  • 2  Buttons
  • Scissors
  • X-Acto Knife

What You’ll Do:

  1. With an xacto knife carefully start a hole in one side of the empty tape spool. Push the chopstick through the hole until it meets the other side of the spool.
  2. Cut the end of the balloon off and cover the spool completely with the balloon. Secure the end of the balloon onto the chopstick with a rubber band.Drum Noisemaker
  3. Cut two small pieces of dental floss. Tape one end to the side of the balloon covered spool. Tie the other ends to shirt buttons.
