Shanah Tovah! Kitchen Little Cooking School is serving up a new twist on the traditional apples and honey that are enjoyed during Rosh Hashanah. Serve these yummy apple and honey wontons to your children, family and friends this holiday!

Apple Honey Wontons
What You’ll Need:

  • 3 Cups Diced, Peeled Apples
  • 16 Wonton Wrappers
  • 4 Tablespoons Honey
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
  • Parchment Paper
  • Baking Sheet
Apple Honey Wonton
What You’ll Do:
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 convection bake.
  2. Combine apples, honey, salt and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. To create a wonton, take one wonton wrapper, place 1/2 tablespoon of the diced apple mixture in the center. Wet all sides of the wonton with water (use your finger). Fold the wonton into a triangle and press the edges together. Repeat until you’ve made all 16 wontons.
  4. Line baking sheet with parchment paper, and place wontons on the tray.
  5. Brush wontons with oil before baking.
  6. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Allow the wontons to cool slightly and top with cinnamon and drizzled honey.
