June Family Friendly Events
Baby Buggy Bedtime Bash: Wednesday, June 4, 5-8p.m.
Help families in need, while having a blast at the family-friendly event of the summer! The family carnival will take place in the Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park. $100 child, $200 adult.
Central Park Scavenger Hunt and Eco Arts & Crafts: Saturday, June 7, 9:30-7:30a.m.
As part of the Green Family Series, the The Horticulture Society of New York is hosting a late Spring scavenger hunt in Central Park! Children (supervised by a parent or caregiver) will go on a hunt for leaves, plants and other nature specimens in Central Park. Meet at the Church of the Resurrection for arts and crafts with your child’s nature bounty! Think collages, botanical art and leaf rubbing.Tickets $5 for members, $15 non-members, Register here.
Stroller Tour at the Guggenheim: Tuesday, June 10, 3-4p.m.
Families with children ages 2 and under can stroll around the Guggenheim in a stroller-pack, led by a museum educator. Touchable displays and good conversation included! $20 non-members.
Museum Mile Festival: Tuesday, June 10, 6-9p.m.
Enjoy a traffic-free 5th Avenue (between 82nd street and 105th street ) for a few hours during the Museum Mile Festival. Families have the option to go in and out of participating museums, or hang out outside and enjoy the festivities taking place on the street!
