Enjoy the last few weeks of summer with tasty homemade snow cones from Kitchen Little Cooking School.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 1 Cup of Watermelon Juice
  • 1 Cup of Cherry Juice
  • 1 Cup of Grape Juice
  • 1 Cup of Ice
  • Snow Cone Maker/Blender
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  1. In a small sauce pan, simmer the watermelon juice until reduced by half. In two separate sauce pans cook cherry and grape juice until reduced by half.
  2. Cool in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
  3. Taste the liquid. If it is not sweet enough, drizzle honey into the juice until sweetened to your liking.
  4. Add ice into a snow cone maker or a blender and crush.
  5. Portion the ice into three cups and add reduced juice to the ice (approximately 1/4 cup per cup of crushed ice).
Chef Tip: Add chopped fruit to the snow cones for a nutritional punch!
