Need to get out of town? Take a trip to the moon! This moon dust paint project requires only a few materials and very little prep! Get in the moon mindset by reading Eric Carl’s “Papa, Please Get the Moon For Me.”Children can recreate scenes from the book using their wild imagination.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Powder Tempera Paint
  • Water
  • Glitter for Stars (mix the glitter in with the tempera for the glitter paint!)
  • Paint Brush
  • Cup
  • Paper

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Dip your brush in the water, then in the powder tempera paint and make your masterpiece!
