What is your role here at Gymtime? Music Teacher!

What is the best part of your job? I love the look on a child’s face when something “clicks”, musically. Music is such a wonderful gift, and I feel so lucky to be able to share it.

What was your first job? My first job was working behind the counter at this really cool fish market in my hometown. My mom always made me shower and change my clothes as soon as I got home.

Where did you grow up? I grew up on the North Shore of Chicago. It’s where all the John Hughes movies were filmed!

What is your favorite activity to do outside of work? I could play the drums all day long, and I do so every chance I get. I also like to eat!

What is something most people would be surprised to learn about you? I have an extensive knowledge of musical theatre trivia. Good musical theatre is one of my favorite things.

What are three things you never leave the house without? (Besides your wallet, keys, and phone!) I never leave the house without guitar picks! I’ve learned that you just never know when you might be needed to play guitar.

If you could meet one person dead or alive, who would it be? I’d love to meet “Weird” Al Yankovic! He’s one of the most creative and versatile musicians around, and he’s always been one of my biggest influences.
