What is the best part of your job?  Being able to interact with kids. I like being there for them on their good days and their bad days. Watching them grow up is a privilege.

What was your first job?  Real estate agent in Boston.

Where did you grow up?  Chapel Hill, NC.

What is your favorite activity to do outside of work?  Shopping for sneakers

What would the title of your autobiography be?   “My Way.” I went to boarding school when I was 15 years old and I’ve been making my own decisions and doing things my way ever since. My Mama always says I’ve been on my own for a long time and I live my life my way.

What is something most people would be surprised to learn about you?  I’ve been on my own since I was 15. I went to boarding school in Western Massachusetts.

If you could meet one person dead or alive, who would it be?  Thurgood Marshall because he didn’t let racism deter him from being who he wanted to be.

What is something you never leave the house without? (besides your wallet, keys and phone!)   Cocoa butter for my lips, music and my shades.
