What is your role here at Gymtime? I am a member of the PEP team. I joined PEP because I wanted to create and maintain a fun, exciting environment where kids are encouraged to learn, grow, and explore. I believe kids need a safe, supportive outlet to be wild and free, and through PEP, we’ve designed a program that cultivates and nurtures their creativity.

What is the best part of your job? I love my job. I am able to revert to my true nature, which is singing, playing, and behaving like a 2 year old.

How does past work/life experience help your current job at Gymtime? My training as an actor and musician has helped me to express myself more freely and creatively. I want the kids in the PEP program to develop this skill as well so I’m grateful my experience has prepared me to be an active role model and lead by example.

Where did you grow up? I grew up in “Bean Town,” better known as Boston, Massachusetts. I’ve lived in New York City for about 5 years now and yes I am and always will be a Red Sox fan.

What is your favorite activity to do outside of work? Music and Acting are my passions. I am constantly writing and producing new music and/or working on film projects that help me play out my multiple personalities.

What is something most people would be surprised to learn about you? I’m a phenomenal dancer.

What are three things you never leave the house without (besides your wallet, keys and phone!)? I never leave the house without a pack of gum, my song book, and an umbrella. I once attended a seminar where the speaker said if you leave the house without an umbrella, you can’t complain about getting caught in the rain. Simple, and yet for some reason, it struck a chord.

If you could meet one person dead or alive, who would it be? Jim Carrey. I have a feeling his true nature involves behaving like a 2 year old as well. We’d have a blast.

What is your favorite…

Book? I enjoy reading stories of how ordinary people changed culture, influenced the world, and became extraordinary. The last one I read was “Outliers” by Malcolm Gladwell. I highly recommend it.

Movie? I recently went to the movies with my little sisters and saw “Despicable Me 2.” It was one of the best movies I’ve seen in years.

Song? Any and every song Michael Jackson recorded between 1979 and 1982.

Food? You can never go wrong with a PB+J and a cold glass of chocolate milk.

TV Show? The Office. I’m pretty sure there isn’t an episode I haven’t seen. I’m on the border of obsession.

Hot or cold? If you can’t take the heat…

Early bird or night owl? I’m pretty sure my insomnia puts me in the night owl category.

Coffee or tea? I just started drinking coffee about 6 months ago out of necessity and I must admit, I rather enjoy it.

Sweet or savory? I savor the sweetness.

Country or city? I’m a city boy through and through.
