We got through January and February together, and now March is here! Hopefully the worst of winter is over, but regardless,  we’ll keep you going with these family friendly events taking place across New York City.

Have some fun around the rink at Rockefeller Center before the crowds get there! Start off with a private morning skate with muffins and hot cocoa. Then move on to the American Girl Cafe for a yummy lunch! Each child leaves with a goody bag. Call to reserve your spot as space is limited. $60 per person. For girls ages 8+. The Strand is getting a very special visit from Frozen’s Elsa! Stop by the bookstore for a very special reading and craft session. Open to all ages.

Tuesday, March 3 at 5 – 7:00 p.m., 24th Annual Bunny Hop

Join the Memorial Sloane-Kettering Cancer Center for a magical evening of magicians, cupcake decorating, a photo booth, stilt walkers, petting zoo and more! Sunday, March 8, at 10:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. Costume Parade at the Zoo

Who said costume parades were only for Halloween? Dress up in your favorite costume, maybe it’s a superhero, princess or an animal and parade through the Central Park Zoo. The morning will start with breakfast and a craft, followed by an animal meet and greet while we parade around, showing off our outfits! For ages 3-7 years old. Tickets $75, which counts for one child and one adult. 

Sunday, March 29 at 12-3:00p.m. Baby Loves Disco, Le Poisson Rouge
Shake off those winter blues with a real live dj mixing 80s, 90s and today’s hits while your little ones move and groove to the beat! Le Poisson Rouge is transformed into a totally safe, child-proof dance party exclusively for children 6 months – 10 years (and their parents and caregivers of course).  $20 per person. Purchase tickets in advance online.
