All around the country, communities are celebrating National Teacher Day, which appropriately falls during Teacher Appreciation Week. Gymtime is fortunate to be staffed with the best educators New York City has to offer. We are confident that our teachers and coaches are simply the best, and we are so thankful for their hard work and dedication to our school. We would like to spend this week showing them how much we appreciate all that they do.
Our Gymtime coaches spend hours in the gym encouraging students to try new and challenging activities. They are constantly reminding children that it’s important to try their best and to support the efforts of their peers. The coaches are excellent motivators and confidence-builders in students of all ages.
Early Learning Foundations Preschool is staffed with wonderful teachers! They are fun, creative and love their young students! Their classrooms are always positive and full of child-centered and engaging activities. The Early Learning Foundations Preschool staff is loved by their students and they make sure that learning is fun and that the school is a safe and happy place.
If you have a student in York Avenue Preschool, you know these teachers are amazing. They are preparing their students for the future with a comprehensive curriculum full of creative and diverse lessons and activities. The teachers motivate their students to become life-long learners.
Beyond our phenomenal group of preschool teachers and coaches, we have the best “specials” and extra-curricular teachers! Our Tiny Tot instructors are superb with our youngest students in the little gym. Our Kitchen Little Cooking School staff is unbelievably talented at creating healthy simple recipes for children. Our art teacher has the incredible ability to teach preschoolers about the most influential artists. Our music teachers are unforgettable and adored by every student. We even have an astonishing Tae Kwon Do teacher, who not only teaches students the ancient Korean martial art form, but also emphasizes the importance discipline, respect and focus! Our staff is exploding with talent!
