Keeping little ones indoors can be hard (and sometimes messy). Keep them busy with these fun, easy-to-do crafts with items hanging around the house!
Project 1: Glueless Collage
A glueless collage on the windows can be a great way to stimulate outside play when the weather proves difficult.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Contact paper
- Tissue Paper or Construction Paper
- Tape
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Cut or tear tissue paper into fun shapes. Tape clear contact paper on the window with the sticky side facing you. Then, let the sticking begin!
Project 2: Shaving Cream Paints
Keep it clean and contained with shaving cream paints in the bathtub.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Shaving Cream
- Food dye or washable paint
- Bathtub
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Add a small amount of food dye or washable paint into shaving cream and stir it up. Plop the child in the tub and paint away. Clean up is easy, just spray everything down! Technically they’re cleaning the tub for you!
Project 3: DIY Stickers
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Address labels
- Markers or crayons
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Have your child draw on a sheet of empty mailing address labels. Once the sheet has been thoroughly drawn on, allow your child to peel the stickers off and have a blast!
